| Michelle started playing soccer at 3 years old. She has been a member of GAWSA for over 10 years as a teammate, captain, vice president ('17-'20), and currently serving a president. Michelle has been a member of two GAWSA National Championship teams, and has never met a stranger!

Dacia has been playing soccer for over 30 years now, starting her pursuits in high school making the state final game her junior year. At UNC-Chapel Hill, she played on the Club Team.She has continued to play as an adult joining GAWSA in 2004.
Velvet started playing soccer at 8y old at SMYSA on all boys teams until the age of 13y. Then, transitioned to play on girls teams to play goal keeper and midfield. She played for Redan High School, then went on to play at GA Perimeter. After injuries in college, she sat out for several years and decided to come out of retirement to play indoor at Creekside, then GAWSA a few years ago.
Lisa has been playing soccer for over 25 years, starting her soccer career during childhood by joining her older brother on a co-ed indoor team. As her love for the game grew, she joined more competitive club leagues and served as the Varsity Captain of her high school soccer team. Post high school, Lisa joined the GAWSA organization and has been a member of the Hot Shots team for the last 15 years. Lisa is excited to become a more involved member of the GAWSA organization in serving on the board as the Treasurer (May 2024 - present).
Mark became involved in soccer in 1985. During that time, he has served in various administrative and coaching positions. Most notably, he began the Lady Hot Shots and became a member of GAWSA in 1989. This is his longest tenure within the soccer community. Mark is an old school guy. He believes that “Playing hard to win is more important that winning itself”. He embraces the “Spirit of the Game” and strives every season, every game, that the joy of competing, the appreciation of opponent’s skills and social interaction, are components of a successful sports experience. 1985-1988 – Youth recreation coach – Clayton Co.
